There are some, I didn't become a full time Yankees/Jets fan until the 21st century.
I'm a Yankees/Giants fan.
Friends...my boss is Mets/Giants but he's the exception.

Do you think the New York Yankees have nice fans? I think they do. I don't really follow baseball but since I like the Bills in the NFL the baseball team I'd pick is the Yankees. I think they are well liked.

And for Hockey, most people in NY, Yankees or Mets fans tend....
As for Yankees fans, more tend to like the Giants, but it's more balanced than Mets fans.
But then there are some people like me that also like the Giants .

The Yankees do need to get someone to fill the spot.
Jeter and Rodriguez only played DH in only 10 games each last season .
Agree that the Yankees are looking to leave the DH spot open for Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez.
