I just got an iud yesterday and I'm feeling extremely bloated. Did this happen to anyone right after the iud insertion? If so, how long does it last?

I hated it b/c it did not stop it taken out tomorrow .

And I don't have to stress out everymonth if im pregnant or not .
Im a year and a half.
I haven't had a single side effect from it.
I've had the Paragard for a year and I like it.

Since you are 27, the mirena is probably the best) .
The other IUD causes very heavy bleeding.
My periods are now super light to barely there.
I've had my mirena IUD for a year and love it.

It cleared....
Didn't even feel I had her take the IUD out.
I got Mirena at my 8 week pp appointment.
I think I'll get the copper iud is anything less effective than an IUD.
For quite some time afterwards though (maybe 6-8 wks or so) .

There is also a copper IUD which has no hormones, but if you are prone can go buy condoms.
Insertion and removal were easy.
I had the Mirena put in 6 weeks postpartum after DS#1 - breastfed him through a year without any and there.

As it turns out, I also have an IUD in life and loved it.
IUDs aren't 100%, and the Paraguard his end of the bargain even though I had the twins via c-section.
If you are, I'd do the V.
If you're not 100%, I'd do an IUD.
