The dyno curve I got on a Mopar 440 shows about 460 ft-lb of torque vs the Hemi 5.7's 410 ft-lb of torque. The 440 also delivers that torque at 3300 rpm vs the Hemi 5.7 at 4200 rpm.
Stepping out of the gate at, say 2000 rpm, the 440 offers up a stout ...
