I was looking for some good applications for downloading from YouTube and Google Videos. Can you recommend some good freeware software?

For youtube, I use http://kickyoutube.com/
Just add the "kick" word in the video URL before youtube go to their page, paste in your Youtube video url and you're good to go.

I tried many Youtube video downloader (sites and bookmarklets) and none of them were able to download HD videos
This bookmarklet works, but does not lead to direct download but to an intermediary page:

Of the good site which contains all youtube videos with google ads....those videos are belongs to some months back it had few youtube ads along with adsense and my adsense was cancelled to that blog.

So because YouTube's API is based on GData, which is based on Atom, the 'author' object; client = gdata.youtube.....
Have you tried something like this?

The sound of Youtube videos stop after 2-5 seconds. The video also stops playing. I searched with Google for this problem, but I can only find solutions to other Firefox/Flash/Sound problems.

If you start the video and then pause to buffer, hit of the video before playing.
Could you try watching Youtube video's in a different browser like Opera?
That would help us and clear your cache ( Ctrl + F5 or Ctrl + R ).
