They are both old and doesnt update at all.
If i were in the works of setting up an site for online commerce, i wouldn't choose ZenCart or OSC .
As one that love working with Magento i just wanted to show you this article .

Zen Cart templates can be really simple or really complex - Copy the cart template files to includes/templates/your_template_name/.
Are asking, however, it would solve your issue.

If you think of popular one , you might think of Magento which more popular .
Zen Cart is not that popular but they do have lot of users because their shopping cart is easy to manage and their cart style is nice .
