As I said above, the software recognizes my Zune device but it DOES NOT recognize the music that is saved to my Zune player.
14.23 GB on my Zune player.

Since the Zune Software downloads the Podcasts to a folder, for example:
C:\Users\[User Name]\Music\Zune from there, if there is software for....
But maybe in future Microsoft release API for Zune hardware.
It's not possible, at now.

My zune collection does not match my media player libray. Most albums have all of the songs in both places. Some albums have all of the songs in the media player and only some of the songs in the zune collection. My collection is from multiple sources...

If they're the wrong type of file, then you're SOL, unless you have a program to convert the files... .
Find the actual files, and click and drag all of them into the collection, either it will add the files, or tell you that they are the wrong type of file .
