Previously it read the info from zune.net RSS feeds.
I'd love to write some to now get the info directly from the Zune software.
I don't belive the Zune software provides an infrastructure for plug-ins.

I have Zune installed on a computer and want to move this to a new Windows 7 computer. Although I haven't tried this yet I'm guessing that I could install the Zune software on Windows 7. However, how do I move all my subscriptions to podcasts etc. over...

Then right-click of all your podcasts and....
Then install the Zune software on your new machine, and then go to 'device'.
Best thing is to write the names else.
I believe that there's no way to do a backup for Zune software...

Zune HD will indeed be getting applications, but at this time to work with a third-party developer, it will be a close relationship with the Redmond,WA-based software there will be no independent software....

I have a dual-monitor setup running Vista. I upgraded to the new Zune 4.0 software, and now I cannot drag the Zune window across to the second monitor because of this "snap to window" feature. I.e. whenever the mouse reaches close to the edge of the monitor...

I have just bought a shiny new HTC Hero. Is there any way to get it to sync with the Zune software. In particular I'm looking at Podcast management.

The Zune Software downloads the Podcasts to a folder, for example:
C:\Users\[User Name]\Music\Zune from there, if there is software for syncing to the HTC Hero for Music etc, this may work - so the Zune Software....

I've got videos I want to encode to put on the zune. Have the encoding software (using Expression Encoder), but I'm not sure about what I should transcode to.
I used the settings built into EE for the Zune, but the sync software still shows these videos...

Syncing Music, Pictures etc works with the current Zune....
To use the Zune 4.0 software fully in the UK or elsewhere outside the US have a look a US Windows Live ID for the Marketplace, but this enables all features for the software.
