Pls does one need an etisalat modem to get a 3G, b/cos i use an etislat sim in a universal modem and what im able to get is just GPRS.
ive tried it in several locations but cant get their 3G. is anyone out there experiencing such.

This immediately tells me that something is wrong.
Intermitantly I can get some slow throughput for a couple of minutes for 3G or HSDPA show up.
Decent signal strength.

Above this you get the likes of 4G.
In order of speed, you get GPRS, EDGE, 3G, HSDPA.
