And the signal is no better whatsoever.

When I make a call in the house, the crummy signal I had before is no better should come on when in use does NOT.

This immediately tells me that something is wrong.
Intermitantly I can get some slow throughput for a couple of minutes for 3G or HSDPA show up.
Decent signal strength.
