The people i feel sorry for most are new international students, some have not even paid their full tuition fees, some just living off the little hours work they can squeeze in between coursework but the demand from friends and family is just depressing...

I am using a state 529 plan to cover tuition, fees, R&B, etc. at my daughter's university. It should be okay for the remainder of her undergrad if all goes well.
