Sample Chatter Excerpts
Do you know anyone who has ever gotten away with child abuse or child molestation?
I know a repeat offender who got off on a courtroom technicality and proudly recalls his history with children. If vigilante justice didn't put people in jail, I'd nail him to a tree.

Spiritual Education or Child Abuse?
It appears very cruel, however I wouldn't go as far as to label is child abuse. Literally brain washing these kids is morally reprehensible, not to the extent of psyical abuse, but still reprehensible.

Should strange children names be considered child abuse?
I certainly wouldn't go as far as to call it abuse but I definately think there should be a limit as to what you can call your child. And as you said it seems selfish that they should call their kid such a ridiculous name, and it will probably cause the child some problems later on in their life.

Children having a "sin nature" and child abuse?
What do you think of parents who use the excuse "children have a sin nature" for child abuse. I believe in discipline when needed, but beating "original sin" out of them doesn't seem right to me. After all, children do not "ask" to be born with original sin.

What is child abuse?
Personally, I think it is a little unfair for parents to make their children go to church, synagogue or whatever else. Children should be allowed to research and learn on their own about religion and create their own beliefs or if they choose to, they should be allowed to not partake in any religion.
Kids should seek religion out on their own if they choose to, not be forced to go. When they are forced, they often have negative feelings about religion. Religion should be a choice, for adults and kids alike.
