Ltd Company with 5 Directors, all equal shareholders
3 Directors resigned in 2005
2 remaining directors carried on business.
Early 2006 took out a bank loan for 20k on 5 yr term. Both directors signed as guarantors...

Should not have offered a loan to a ltd co they knew full well was insolvent - depends what accepted only one signatory as guarantor and on dd mandate when both directors had to sign - Just because the bank mandate needed two signatures....

I'd be surprised if any mainstream lender would be prepared to offer a loan as you have no means a loan.
