I just got a job offer to be a FE Developer, but I've never heard of that term before. Strong HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, XSL skills required.
I consider myself proficient in all of those fields except for XSL and I've never heard of that term before...

Cannot comment on .NET, but I've used Access FE with SQL Server BE on
numerous worked with Access as a front end on and off for ten years), my own
personal preference is for ASP.NET., in Access if you have a continuous....

Uncheck "Enable Full Menus" for this database
3, Access will warn about VB script....
Click Access Options->Current Database.
FE Updater makes this entire process a lot easier as well as automatically updating the FE as you.
