If they are running groupwise and are telling you that you can log in from home, it likely means
page. If you don't know the address of the mail server just go to thier web page and see
and password to use, et cetera. You most likely will access your work e-mail account via your browser...

to give the user access to mail or to ftp or to ftp AND mail but not the shell.
It may prove possible...
From what you explained I'm guessing that you are talking about accessing the shell via telnet

comcast home web sites. a window continually pops up stating "the host, outlook express, could
access my mail now as well.

Our mails stop functioning, no matter what we do we can't send/recieve mail nor can our clients
solution, but it still works..

My mail is set up , DNS works and I can send mail on the local LAN.

Does the SMTP Error show
Just wanted to add that the error was "port 993 timed out".

I use outlook express to check my 2 work and my aanet email accounts. This works fine at home
but at work our system is thru connexus adsl and it won't access the aanet account.
