My 2011 Touring's transmission continues to shudder at 50 mph. In addition, my transmission does not engage in reverse immediately after sitting over night. I have had this vehicle in the shop for at least 10 days trying to get the problems taken care...

Yes, I had a 04 Accord and it did the same vibrating feeling at low RPM.
If you search on Accord/Pilot May 2008 Location Mississippi Posts 36 That's crazy.
In and the tranny or torque converter getting hung up at a low rpm .

FIXED all my gear hunting/shudder it's a profitable service for them....
It's pretty much eliminated the shudder, and they standard add a supplement like/exactly like this stuff.
I had a shop siphon some fluid out, then put this in .
Curious.

I had that, but got it fixed by my Honda dealer for free under warranty.
I would go with the accord but thats just my opinion If you.
I heard, honda you get more for your money.

Took our Ody in for the brake recall and transmission shudder.
After the reflash the shudder was not noticeable but having a friend that works at the dealer paid off.
They installed a new TC, did the brake recall, replaced some reservoir on the PS pump...

The torque converter typically shutters pretty bad when shifting from 2nd to 3rd, at 35~45 MPH and then a little bit when going form 3rd to 4th .
It could also be the engine mount.

Just purchased an '06 ex-l r&n with 61000 from our local honda dealer. The third day we owned it it shuddered (just like our 2005 pilot that it replaced). Took it back to the dealer. They said it was the egr valve, cleaned it and so far three weeks later...

Read up more on the subject before you decide to get a power flush .
Honda has a new synthetic fluid DW-1 that replaced the z-1 fluid flush to a Honda Tranny.
I would change the fluid ASAP.
