I don't understand why I keep hearing that someone sent their bank account info (i.e. checking account number and routing number) to someone that turned out be a scammer, and they ended up draining their bank account. This makes no sense... those numbers...

Generally, yes, anyone you give a physical check to could use your bank account through online that ask only for account and routing numbers, which you can get off a check.

Anyone know which would be the better route to go for multiple checking accounts in multiple banks?
I hear so much bad stuff about the quicken software.

It runs on windows and easily supports multiple accounts, makes manual data entry a breeze and supports multiple currencies (depending on where your banks are).
Personally, I use GnuCash.

Yes once the amount is in your bank account it is fair game for any legal reason that the bankmoney in the bank has no separate identity The only money that they can't hold is from social security.

You have to use a UK bank if your business is in UK as US and UK are still where the account....
The only countries where you can open a checkout merchant account and the bank has to be from the country a screenshot of the page.
