It mentions that it disables challenges and leaderboards, but challenges are seperate from achievements. question being, can i earn achievements if i play the game as bass man?

It makes no sense there: that relation is defined in terms of the predicate "user user_id earned the badge bd_id at assigned_at" .
Regarding the sketch you included: get rid of the boolean column on badges_user .

What I eventually realized is that all the Steam achievements are 100 to view it in "View Found Secrets" as well ....
Yeah, a lot of people had that problem, myself included .
All achievements, my savefile, and then start from the beginning.
