Dear forum readers and contributors,
Last time I used Steam, it used to play with NTFS ACLs, giving full control of its own directory to any user of the computer. That's why I uninstalled it... Is it still the case ?
If yes, is there any way to revert...

ACL protecion on the Program files directory just makes it 'harder' for users to screw up an install.
A bypass of the UAC, hoping that ACL protection on the Program Files folder is protecting you from virus infection is foolish.

You can apply an ACL to a port or a SVI. You just need to remember
that it will only 'run' against traffic that is coming...

I wouldn't suggest it, the knee in the leg.
I tore my right ACL a few years ago and did the hamstring option.

Well ACLs are typically used on [Inbound|Outbound] parts of interface vlans or interfaces with ip protocols from the same vlan, since you can't use a regular ACL to create this.
