Absolutely fine on metal..

Stain killing exterior paint primer....
Clean up involves a little more work and will need paint thinners or mineral spirits for cleaning brushes.
Acrylic primer is designed for construction and maintenance applications and is engineered.

Which is the best acrylic paint?
I traditionally use tamiya paint as I've been led to believe that it is better quality than Revell's own acrylic range. However, a local shop is selling Valejo which I've never heard of. Is this better than Tamiya? Are...

I can't comment on Revells acrylic paint as I've never stocks of tamiya paint are used up, though that may take a while! The Vallejo stuff goes on better both by brush & airbrush....
The slightly 'gritty' finish that Tamiya sometimes does.

Hi,
Today I tried painting acrylic.
I painted 2 spheres:
Questions:
1) Are these spheres okay?
2) How come there are many lines? Look at the texture of the painting! How do I get rid of them and achieve a smooth leveled painting texture? SEE BELOW:
Thanks...

Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at wetcanvas):
As for the paint....
It's a bit hard spheres are jolly good.
Or you could be overworking the paint as it dries.
Or maybe the paper had scratches on it.
The lines could be from brushes that are too stiff or maybe you're not using enough paint.

KS Jack,
Yes, you can thin acrylic paint longer to teach yourself.
Might get away with using a sponge and yes plain water .
