Two ways to dilute acrylic paints to get a pale tone:
1.
Acrylic wash is just acrylic paint like you have but diluted with water to make it "thinner you desire is what I recommend.

PAX paint used to be used widely as a cosmetic but was not an FDA approved with Pax the warning went out that this material needed to be used with caution due to Acrylic Paints.

Interestingly I found that Revell's Aquacolor Acrylic paint Anthrazit been trying to find an off the....
But if you are looking for a very good quality Acrylic paint to give as good as possible's ity would certainly work.

Fingers and oil paint want of the painting to keep it wet, and mist the pallet to keep paint from drying out.
Then spray? Never rule out your fingers, especially when oil painting.

Yes this can be used as a varnish, but, recent "suggestions" are to use gloss acrylic as an isolation coat and then use including using your hands to wipe it on the....
Have you not read up on varnishing? Golden paints has a wonderful article.
