Several schools exempt you from SAT II tests if you do the ACT with writing.
It has to do with the fact that the questions on ACT are a little more.

Should I take the SAT or ACT? I'm an international student and I'm not sure which would be the best option: to take the SAT or the ACT?
Also, am I right that the ACT has a science part but the SAT doesn't?

I wouldn't mind if the school announced it - our local paper: "what were her SAT scores?" Heck yeah! I'd tell everyone who would stand still and listen! LOL kid.
