So I've got an interesting issue at the moment. I'm attempting to use curl (7.15.5 on CentOS) to retrieve a file from a remote FTP server. Our client changed something last weekend, because it worked on Friday and doesn't now.
I can FTP in using the CLI...

To balance the two pickups with the same volume at the same pickup height, I know I'm going to have to put some preamp of some sort in to the passive to balance it with the active... So that's pretty much going to make it an active. WHATEVER.

I was in Curry's today looking at 3D TV's.
The LG TV's, I think they were LeD, were very good and you could watch with simple 'cinema' glasses. Light weight glasses without batteries!
I assume this is passive 3D.
Is passive better than active?
Is it kinder...

I own a Samsung C7000 (active) , and an LG 5600 (passive) I like the passive better with passive 3D, you only get half the resolution of active 3D.
A reduction in PQ.

For pj we can hv full 1080p active/passive by stack two 1080p and is not New viewing distance and viewing angle I think passive 3D is superior to active 3D.
And the 6500 range.

I found these two videos from YouTube. I guess one is from Samsung and the other one from LG. It was explaining both active and passive technology and why one is superior over the other one.
However, it is really hard to tell which of them are telling...
