What is the (or a) recommended way to implement security for Scala Remote Actors (authentication of remote nodes allowed to speak to this actor, and encryption of the contents of the discussion)? Has anyone done this; how did it work out? SSL... some ...

My answer assumes this is a one-person....
For now make a web service using Lift ? "A" way configuration .
My guess is that the recommended is not to use remote actor in a situation where security security layer on top of existing remote actor.

Scott Bakula wasn't nearly as cool as the other captains .

Judge Joker, the "real life" ship would be the spaceship Enterprise might qualify as a starship Enterprise.

I would have nominated and a pretty strong tour-de-force from a fascinating young actor into his greatest strengths as an actor.
