I have a web application where the client will be running off a local server (i.e. - requests will not be going out over the net). The site will be quite low traffic and so I am trying to figure out if the actual de-compression is expensive in this type...

I wouldn't bother.
On pretty much any modern system with a solid web stack, compression will not be expensive, but it seems to me that you won't be gaining any positive effects from it whatsoever, no matter how minor the overhead .

When someone gets PGA qualified, what do they actually learn? (I've heard some say nothing at all apart from rubbish) ....and what (if any) swing do they actually teach... what's it based on or is it just a 'home made PGA blend...

What part of the saw actually dies? I'm going to do some milling with a 55 cc saw.
Not because I think it's a particularly good idea, but because I'm obsessed with the idea of milling and my Alaskan comes in on Monday.
I know it wears saws out prematurely...

Does Sonar have such a meter? How can I monitor the output level to see the actual audio level in terms of the typical 0dB to +3dB? The way I've been doing it is to run the output from the interface (VS100 which has unnumbered meters) to an analog mixer...
