Gout!
Ive had reoccurring Gout for about 10 years now. Acute attacks start at the base of my left or right big toe (but rarely both together), and leave me hobbling around, in great pain and unable to put my shoe on. Between acute attacks I can get swollen...

Like everybody else, I can't believe how many people have this! I've had this same pain on my URQ for 6 months or so. Another symptom is numbness in my left pinkie which started before the pain, so guess I'll go with the pinched nerve Nerve biopsy
