I'm guessing Comcast must have assigned our old network a new IP address when we rebooted the router to access....

It might have been nice to have the old DNS provider change the TTL to 8 hours (or less the DNS TTLs at 3 days....

How have you verified that it's a DNS issue? Are you able to ping specific IP addresses? Do similar to your problem.
