In Windows 7, if you change the font size via the Control Panel->Appearance and Personalization -> Display "Make text and other items larger or smaller", it adjusts not only the menu sizes, but also the text content size of apps like Notepad, Wordpad...

Can you specify what what toolkit you're ....
AWT might as well for all I know.
I'm almost certain that SWT for instance would automatically pick up the new sizes (since it uses native widgets) .
This would depend entirely on what GUI toolkit you're using .

Hi all,
Just got a forge adjustable actuator for my car. I'm about to put it on but I'm just curious as to which way to screw the 'end bit' to turn the boost up and down, as I want to start it off low as possible, and then just gradually work it up to...

Is it possible to adjust the sensitivity of the iPhone's accelerometer? I'm finding that it is too eager to switch back and forth between portrait and landscape mode, and am hoping that there is some way to adjust this.

You can't adjust the sensitivity, but you can disable the auto-rotation if you have a jailbroken iPhone.
Officially that is.
No, there is not a way to adjust the sensitivity of the accelerometer.

I need to adjust the width of a select HTML box without using css, is there a way? I tried size but then it's adjusting the height, and width does nothing? Is there another way?

Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at stackoverflow):
Add an empty option....
<select style="width: ....
You can set it using the style element, though which is kind of without css in that it is inline .
There is no way to do it in pure HTML as per http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/interact/forms.html#h-17.6 .

Edit - Although this covers the manual adjust it might be of help: http://vagdrivers.net on the box (also in the up position....
Correctly (through the release fork on the gearbox)?
The manual adjust is way better and more favoured by owners.

Answer Snippets (Read the full thread at stackoverflow):
If the div has an known width and height, you can use negative margin:
div { position: absolute; width: 800px; height: 500px; left: 50%; top: 50%; margin-top: -250px; margin-left: -400px; }
Notice the negative margins are half of the width and height.... .

What do you mean by "self-adjusting" data structures? How are they different from other data structures? Where are they used?
Edit: Why would adjust a data structure if operations other than insert and delete are performed?

Addendum: Other structures adjust themselves based on reading.
Inserted no matter what happens to the tree.

I don't think they'll adjust, I think they'll play.
