Background Info
All of my editing in Avid is in the YCbCr 709 color space. This is an 8-bit color space (values from 0-255), where black is defined as 16 and white is defined as 235. Anything below 16 is super black and anything above 235 is super white...

01-30-2012 05:43 PM I'm using a T2i and a GH2 for some live event documenting, and having trouble matching the colors in post.
I try pretty hard to get them to match in camera (white balance, etc), and its OK, but because of various discrepancies in picture...

Yesterday 03:52 PM I haven't used it, but I've heard good reports about the FBmn Color Match Plugin outside of Sony's app, however I understand that their color correction wheels are rather useful In is now on general release.

Samsung makes the frameless tv's now.
Thin, use less power tan other tv's which puts off less heat, have really good colors, and the blacks looks lost up there....just to small.

HD TV is like a cell phone. After you have it, you wonder how in the world you got by without it. I'm getting to the point where, if it isn't in HD, I find myself disappointed.

The amount of detail that is lost is amazing.
Not only using the service mode of the TV is where the real action is.
At that range it gives you accurate colors (ambient white light is about that color).
