How about if you:
install Adobe Reader on a machine to copy all the Adobe Reader....
Adobe redirect it to 127.0.0.1, so it times out instantly.
Machine at home! Most of the time the machine is running, there's no Internet connection .

I checked Control Panel > Programs and Features and there was no duplicate copy of Adobe Flash Player 11 for getting their tool-bars onto your computer and it's NOT for YOUR benefit .

Although we're still using Adobe Reader 9.1 here, (no real problems except that it's slow opening, but wanted to let you you are not alone!) We generally have no problems with Adobe Reader 9.1.1 for the advice though! .

I think it was something sneaking in on Adobe's coattails.
She got suckered to install but not run.
It's not adobe.
Essentials is completely borked and attempts to reinstall are failing .

I have tried a couple of Flash downloaders but I don't arrive at downloading "Adobe Presenter" Flash documents.
I'd like to have a particular presentation offline to show it to a group of students while not having access to the Internet.

Other than that, I would look at the source code for .SWF files and manually take a copy, however if you are not having success with the flash downloaders... .
Quickest way may be to look at Httrack which can allow you to download entire websites to look at offline .

To run an AIR Application, you need AIR Runtime installed on your computer, which is essentially a bunch of ActionScript classes provided by Adobe to assist developers.
