I really don't think the Truthers are trying hard enough with their merchandising. I mean Tshirts and hats are OK, but where are the lunch boxes and pencil cases? They should really be concentrating more on their demographic. Maybe they should market their own range of Electro shock equipment and strait jackets as well. source

With ever decreasing eCPMs, I think a business model based purely on pageviews and ad clicks is never going to make much cash. It's the perfect solution whilst you're building your userbase and expanding your functionality initially, because it takes literally 2 minutes to stick ads on your pages. But long-term, a different monetization strategy is needed. If you've built an app which gets users coming back time and again, you need to be able to monetize them exponentially more than casual one-time visitors. This won't happen by just placing generic ad network ads on your page - regulars will quickly become blind to them. source

It is indeed an easy tool to use to advertise your websites. But I don't think it really directs to the targeted market or traffic that you would like to have. And as far as conversion is concern, chances are less for sure. source

I make money through Beatport by linking to their site from mine. You have to get a lot of traffic though but obviously you're not gonna make enough money online to make a living. source
