Give me your best advice for wanting to join the military?
When you go to MEPS to get your physical get a copy of the physical and have your parents put it some were safe. That way you have a base line for your physical condition prior to getting in. I know a few Marines who had their records lost and can't get benefits because of that. source
Advice on a masters in planning?
I guess I am the resident economic developer here at Cyburbia. There are not too many programs in that field, and I would not recommend them anyway. With your interest in redevelopment I would suggest the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee or Portland State University. If you are interested in the University of Colorado, I am trying to hire a paid intern. source
Any Advice - Deposit Return?
He thinks we may have a case as what is tabled now is not what we signed up to. The fact is, if we move in, we will be the only ones living in that row of houses and the developer is not continuing with the rest of the estate for the moment so we'll have to face a building site in the meantime - fabulous! The leafy green views with a driveway and neighbours that we initially expected are a thing of the past - thats the argument we may have. That and the fact that the EA wasnt honest with us as to why he wanted us to move in the first instance! source
Dismissed- any helpful advice?
I agree that talking with your old school is past its expiration date. I wouldnt try to hard to transfer I think it is more important to focus your energy on studying for your boards and then doing well on rotations! That being said if you do very well on your boards I think you have a shot at getting an american residency. Just make sure you have doccumentation and physician references that state that whatever issues you had back then have been worked through. source
Any advice on portrait lens?
I've used it on a DX format for a limited time, but I was very impressed by that lens. On DX, it's really quite a tele lens, but if you have the space, it's no problem at all. source
