Admittedly I'm not the most informed person on political issues. But with watching the news in the Middle East it occurred to me that perhaps the war in Iraq bears some resemblance to the Crusades. Perhaps it doesn't. I'm very bad at making broad generalizations...

It is unknown how many people have died in Afghanistan. I couldn't find any realistic figures... I think its fair to assume that the numbers are similar for Afghanistan. GRAPHIC...
