Hi,
I have a spare afternoon/evening with the kids (8 & 4) in London on the 28th Jan. Leaving Olympia, Kensington around 13:30. Have a travel card so getting around should not be a problem.
Any thoughts on what to do, we have been to the usual stuff like...

Is there some disconnect here between "tea" and "afternoon tea" ? An "afternoon tea" traditionally comes with food - sandwiches cake and so on.

I think you'd have 2 options on where to stay, if you stay in central London, you can get a car to the airport but it's quicker and airport hotels tend to be cheaper than central London hotels.
