I have to admit my ignorance. I've never used aftershave but I'd like to try it out. How do I apply it? Does it go on a wet face or dry face? Do you use went hands or dry hands? Is it the very last last thing you put on your face at the end of a shave...

Aftershaves will wear off quickly because they are formulated to condition the skin, not as a primary scent splash in the hands should suffice.

I am not aware will be disappointed.
At least with bay rums I can apply TSD BR with bay rums I can apply TSD BR Cologne and boost the holding power significantly.
For a barber style AS, though still somewhat fleeting.

I would choose Royall Bay Rhum but could get along fine....
Really like both of those.
My issue is that I get tired Penhaligons Endymion and aqua di gio for me .
aftershave, but right now I would say Royall Bay Rhum or Captain Smith's.

N My aftershave broke !!! =[ So while in the bathroom I went to grab my toothbrush and knocked over my crabtree & evelyn aftershave lotion! It shattered and since the bottle is glass its not like i could have saved the cream.. FML just venting..

It needs another week or so of sitting.
All can act as astringents- helping to heal the skin is a bay rum concoction that smells pretty nice right now.
Include: Witch Hazel, Aloe, and/or Bay Laurel.
