I need to write an SNMP agent for my application.
I read the CodeProject article on how to write an SNMP extension agent DLL using win32, but would like to know if it is possible to do it with managed code.
Also, is it possible to write my own SNMP agent...

What are you trying to do with your SNMP agent?! Does you app need to send traps?! or query Agent archictecture is not based on .Net und so - I assume - you cannot use the mentioned library.

Why is most of the agent research and work done in Java? Is there a reason that the developers seem to have completely steered clear of .net framework or is it that it just doesn't get talked about among researchers as the .net is more commercial than...

I have at least 3 or 4 agents out of 150+ call center that constantly go into a Ready not Ready Agent State. What could be causing the issue?
I know it's not the agents themselves going off hook because I've sat next to them when it happens.
