I'm involved in a project where we need to bond plastics like FFKM (Kalrez) & PCTFE (Kel-f) in a device that in service will see saturated solvent atmosphere ( DMSO, Acetone, Acetonitrile, toluene...

This lip might fit minimally and seal, but tolerated the solvents better, and was not the primary bonding agent, when find a bonding....
Surface? Thus keeping the solvents away from the bond surface and the bonding agents.

Hi all,
Is anyone here familiar enough with HXTAL NYL-1 to know about its capabilities of bonding glass to 303 Stainless Steel for structural purposes? Not too much documentation available online on successes.

I use it to bond glass to my outdoor glass art...it is outside 24/7 to metal bonds when....
I use it to bond glass to just about everything.
I would use E6000 craft glue.
Don't use
UV or silicon.
It was heavier than what you describe.

I offer 2 caveats; I am a big fan of mechanical bond, so scuffing it always helps....but at some point, a coarse enough scratch becomes a potential stresspoint ( crack!)
