WTB: Cheap RSX steering wheel air bag (not deployed)
I'm looking for a cheap air bag so I can swap the backs of them so I can make a JDM ITR steering wheel work.
Mostly all I want it for is to remove this:

I have a black wheel and air bag. Air bag is mint, wheel has minor wear around stitching an 8/10.

If your vehicle everything ive read which is published by authorities says along the lines of 'bar work should be air bag the days, now you carnt do....
But i know this is definatly illegal.
I would love to disable the air bag.

Hey guys i have an 05 sts 4 with navi... and i got a message displayed ...service air bag.. is there any way to pull codes thru the dash...my scan tool says no codes found..its not reading the body codes...only ecm.any info would be a help.just dont want...

I get the air bag light every other trip, the Theft Attempted light, the hood ajar light and most (twice) there are no current....
If your service air bag message went out then the system is fully operational.
My thoughts exactly.

My air bag (supplemental restraint system) light glows in the instrument panel. My mechanic's computer module could not diagnose the source of the fault code. Anyone have experience in this matter (sensor, loose wire?) as the air bag has never deployed...

Does anyone else hate that there are rules pretty much saying you cant manufacture your own winch bar if your vehicle is fitted with an air bag? What a load of crap!

Looking into building a bumper for my 97 GC. Is there anything you need to do with the air bag when building your own bumper or is does a different bumper even have an affect on the air bag? Not sure how they work.

Which is why you can hit something at 5mph and it won't deploy.
The air bag isn't an impact meter is a deceleration meter.
Is it that big of a deal? Not really.
