Anyway, the hot air is blowing, when climate control is set to 16 deg, and even when it is turned off.
So much so that we want to trade-in for X3 .

All four of my dash vents continually blow hot air no matter what the temperature setting. The car has aircon and the vents by the steering wheel blow ice cold air but the dash vents blow hot air at the same time. Any suggestions as to where I can start...

It is unlikely to be the flapper into the dashboard... .
From recollection nearside feed is hot, off side feed is cold and air con.
See this topic...
Into the dashboard area, one is hot and one is cold (including air con feed).

All buttons are on cold. AC is on. 2 right front vents blowing very cold air. The 2 left front vents are blowing warm air. Not dual control. The 4 rear vents in ceiling of van are also blowing warm air instead of cold.

Also, make sure you have "re-circulate" turned ....
Have tips to use a dryer vent (or something!) go redirect an air vent from the front to the carseat, where the cool air will then "fall" as the hot air "rises".

Same with when the heater is running- hot air stops blowing out blower running, whenever I accelerate, the force of the air coming out of the vents decreases.
Or I am maintaining a constant speed.

Ok...this may be my first year with no air conditioning if you guys cant help me....no pressure folks well....i only get hot air blowing in the cabin when i turn the air system on when i change the temp to 60F, i dont hear any flapper movement and hot...
