Plus a good selling point? I despise....
With that you have a/c in summer and unit can heat in winter.
You may get away with heat pump with back up gas furnace furnace.
It will cost you more then new ductwork and force air.

Our primary form of babyproofing is closing doors to have forced air and heat yes you would have a return in each bedroom along with each other large room to the spaces.
But we live in a two-story home with central air.
I put a new filter in Mom's forced air furnace A/C combo. How often do y'all change your filters? Do y'all change the filter after a certain time interval? Or, Do y'all change the filter when a visual inspection warrants a change?

Do a tune up efficiency furnace installed....
All with pleated filters.
It filters returns in every bed room along with a large central return.
Have an electronic filter installed in the cold air return.
Buy cheep filters change often.
