I am running OSX 10.6.7. I want to install Bootcamp and the Bootcamp Assistant wants to download “Windows SupportSoftware” for this Mac. However, it then says “Download could not continue, the Windows support software is not available”. Any ideas?

It appears that Apple's "Boot Camp" version 2.0
on the Mac OS 10.5.6 is out-of-date.
No newer updated version is being offered,
as far as the "Mac side" of things ...
