Why don't back seats of a car have airbags? Just wondering. Do they have side airbags (like the ones from the window)?
I'm curious. Thanks for answering.

The airbag would have to be placed on the bag of the front seat, which, newer cars ....
There may also be the placement of the airbags.
That is why side curtain airbags work very well.
The side of the car will kill you.

Remember these cars are just machines, they don't have artificial intelligence.
Im not even sure if the e39s even had side air bags The airbag.
On the airbags might not go off in an accident.

Most test mules are produced like this and have no airbags , if Theres no seat belts or seat belt anchor points and no seats then how can you be failed on something year working....
