The desks of car hire companies are available at the Proserpine Terminal, including Hertz, Avis, Thrifty, Budget and Europcar .

Just wander up booking in advance.

There is nothing to do in Airlie Beach itself unless you like partying with drunken backpackers. People go to Airlie Beach to do trips to the Whitsunday Islands (day trips to three day sailing tours) or to the outer reef. You can also do a great crocodyle...
