Alan Kay was quoted several years ago to the effect that there had been only three new things in software in the preceding 20 years (effectively the lifespan of PCs). One of them was Spreadsheets.

No mention of spreadsheets, but how about this quote, from an interview with a 1991 (In 2004, Google's Jeffrey Dean and Sanjay Ghemawat revealed MapReduce) Alan Kay invented Smalltalk simulations was one.

I hope they keep it true to what made this one awesome, don't go too overboard with the action!
I would be horrified if it had any sort of multiplayer or co-op.

American nightmare was good but I definitely don't want it to go overboard on the action .

I am currently stuck in Alan Wake were you have to start a generator with no weapons. I can't seem to get it going without getting hit, anyone have any suggestions on how to go about it?

Could you be more specific as to what chapter it is? From what I remember starting some of the generators can be a bit difficult when enemies are chasing you, depending on the difficulty .

There are only two DLC "episodes" which only add about 3 total://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Alan_Wake - if you discover a fix, take some time to add your own (no account required).
