Discrete alarms are usually simply a 'high' voltage sent out on an input to indicate some sort of an alarm condition that has been achieved.
That they transfer over to remote telemetry as well.

Worse, my events have stopped popping up alarms consistently, even new.
Today I see 2, 3, 4, sometimes more alarms for each event that had any alarmI have this problem as well.

My son has had two bikes with alarms that have caused his bikes to stop, admittedly they were older bikes (about 5 - 8 years).
Never had an alarm on any of my bikes, wouldn't if you paid me.
