Hello, I thought it would be interesting to start a thread on this topic. Many fashion photographers work for music artists and produce lovely work. So post the album/single covers here. Always state the name of the photographer, the name of the artist...

Why is it that some of the albums I have on CD don't have cover art in iTunes? When I rip the same songs using Microsoft Media player the cover art comes up? How is cover art updated in iTunes?

I don't have the album art for most of my music, and I don't have time to go find and download images for all of my album. Any suggestions?

I would checkout Songbird, with the add-on of Album Art Amarok , this functionality is built in.
It has built-in Amazon lookup that will download cover art and save amazon.ca pretty good track listings.
Try Tag & Rename.

When you download the album artwork, save the artwork to the file.
Try using MediaMonkey.
That the site Album Art Exchange to be the best site for great-looking (and expansive selection of) covers.

PHP has ID3 capabilities built in , but it looks like it doesn't support album art.
