I know that this is a very competitive field? That's a crapload of money, obviously, but I know a fourth year at my school who didn't match allopathic.
A career in this field is through the allopathic match.

Don't use anything but Netters and step 1 prep books .

Do I think it's unfair? Not really.
Do I have a problem with med students using those drugs? Not really .
I have never done so and never will.
Adderall ftw I would guess that quite a few med students abuse prescription amphetamines .

You might still have a shot? I thought that it was 100% GPA-based, like... .
If it's the top quarter of the class, doesn't GPA play a role? I thought most schools used top 25% as the cut off and ultimately took 1/6th of the class based on additional factors .

I certainly wouldn't avoid med school because you're a little uneasy... .
You get desensitized to just about everything in med school, blood included .
You'll be fine.
Systematically dismembering a corpse over a six-month period will desensitize you plenty .
