This is probably a silly question but ive not flown with Ryanair before so thought I would get some clarity.
So me and 5 other mates are off to Spain on friday for a stag do.
We've all got checked baggage ordered and confirmed, but I dont actually...

We are flying into Barbados on Virgin to connect to the SVG flight to Bequia.
I've been told we should be ok with 23kg as its a connecting flight.
Is this correct as the SVG allowanc is only 20kg?

The most recent posts regarding this question are from 2007. wondering if qantas is more strict in enforcing it's 15lb carryon baggage allowance these days. i'll be flying internationally, and 15lbs isn't very much allowance at all!

Agree with the previous poster though, considering....
I flew qantas to the States in Nov 2011 and they didn't weigh all passengers' carry ons.
However in my experience they are more likely to target the bulky looking bags .
With carry on luggage.

I'm looking at bringing my dog to the UK with me (he has completed PETS) when I return from a visit home at Christmas. I'm considering flying to Paris with him and then taking the Eurostar to London so that I have more options for him to fly as excess...

American Airlines will allow a pet to be checked as excess baggage (excluding on flights to the UK, per UK regulations) for $175 each way.

Unlikely airlines are getting meaner with baggage!
Why not air freight things you will need sooner, much cheaper than paying for extra weight with a flight usually.

My husband has a CPAP . Due to the weight of his NHS CPAP he is not allowed to take extra personal items as hand luggage wiith him on board a plane at UK airports.

I have just had a twitter conversation with Glasgow Airport , they are advising us to always check with airline re baggage carry your CPAP extra to your luggage....
To contact them if people intend using their machines during the flight.

I was just chekcing the JAL website regarding total max allowable weight of checked luggage and it seems to have changed from last time I travelled with them (last February).
