Have you gone in to see anyone yet? If there is any chance you might be pregnant, you really should be seen. Ablation makes pregnancy difficult and risky, but it doesn't prevent conception at all. Let us know what you find out. Hope all is ok!

Rivermom, how many years out of med school are you? Are you an American grad? You may have to do some volunteering or research to strengthen your application, since multiple years out of med school can be a red flag for many programs, even FP .
