Okay, so I need to plan a vacation for my family (DH and I and 4 kiddos age 4-11). Its not until next year, but I'm doing research now. We're in the Toronto area and would love to fly south somewhere warm for Jan/ Feb or March, but it needs to be CHEAP...

Villagers happen by and ask what to cook one meal, hardly resource efficient....
Goes REALLY well in baked beans, and the like by river/stream and put a stone, and water in their cooking pot.
Personal favorite way to use bacon for cooking.

I eat 5 min oatmeal every day for breakfast
I want to start eating steel cut oats but they take 30
min's to cook and I'm always short of time in the
morning for that length of time
