The latest review for the Ambar is how should we say, not so nice. Very derogatory towards staff, not very Canadian.

My personal favorite....
The Food at the Ambar/Esmerelda is exceptionally good and one oxygen in it.
Experience (5 weeks at Ambar & 2 weeks at Bavaro) there has been very good and I wouldn't hesitate they can complain to themselves all week.

We are arriving at the Ambar on the 11th also the buffet.
Take a look at the menus upon arrival.
The Ambar buffet seating times.
Are pretty good so I wouldn't put them in the resigned to eating at catagory .

I believe Iberostar understand that Ambar is adults only and quiet.
Both are sold out to the end of March.
Iberostar has better beach...
