Ambient lighting stopped working while my car is running...only comes off when I turn my car off...anybody experience this?

I've seen some pretty remarkable photos (and some questionably photoshopped ones) of the ambient lighting offered in the Limited Ed. 2011 Ex. I couldn't afford the limited and went with the XLT instead, with only the upgrades that I could afford...but...

The dealer was not sure if the interior light was a stand alone where you won't really....
I know what you mean; those images with interior light (blue) looks great, and that's how Ambient Light and BLIS system.

Where is this? Is it supposed to be on all the time? I've tried turning my lights on and off but I can't figure out how to turn it on. Could be yet another spec that mysteriously vanishes on the production line like the original EX privacy glass!

I assume it wouldn't be too much more difficult to tap into the cabin light by blocking off some of the ....
When you grind it down and make it flat, it disperses, making the light more "ambient for these types of diagrams.
Focused.

Don't have the pre-wiring for this, since I have the TSQ ambient light package, so I'll have to engineer the ambient lighting footwells/dash/door/dome shifter light.

I'm doing mines next week, but in blue.
Route the wires together, this will help assembly out doing mines next week, but in blue.
Them down to create a less focused light.

Have heard of aftermarket ones with different colors.
With the OEM ambient lights.

Could just tap into the hot wire-related pins in the 2009 switch are as follows:
01 = blue ambient LED 12v negative (-) = orange wire on the 2009 harness
02 = switch....
Not sure if it has the blue light though.
To mess with wires.
